Mothana Kleebai

Mothana Kleebai

Mothana received a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Chiang Mai University in Thailand. After graduation, Mothana worked as a geologist and joined GIA as a diamond grader in 2018. She has earned the GIA Graduate Diamond, Graduate Pearls and Applied Jewelry Professional diploma. Currently, she is working as an associate instructor for the Graduate Diamond program.

Pitchaya Lopiti

Pitchaya Lopiti

Pitchaya graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science specializing in gemology from Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand. Pitchaya joined GIA in Thailand in 2011. She has earned the GIA Graduate Gemologist® diploma (GG), Graduate Pearls diploma(GP), and Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP®). In her role as an instructor, she has been teaching the entire range of GIA gemology programs and has given numerous trade seminars both domestic and international. She previously worked in international logistics and jewelry companies which have provided her broad experience in all industry aspects as well as in gemstone identification. In 2016, Pitchaya received the prestigious GIA Staff of the Year Award for her outstanding contributions. She became Manager of Instruction at GIA in Thailand in 2018. Her solid background in gemology, along with her expertise in gemology makes her a valuable source of information for her students enabling them to achieve their goals and succeed in their careers.

Apisada Sompong

Apisada Sompong

Apisada started working in the gem trade after earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. With strong passion for gemology, she earned the GIA Graduate Colored Stone diploma and joined GIA as an associate instructor for the Graduate Colored Stones diploma program in 2024.

Patharaphum Sudprasert

Patharaphum Sudprasert

After completion of the GIA Graduate Gemologist program in Bangkok, Patharaphum attended various educational institutions focused on gemology. In 2013, he started his career as a GIA instructor. He then moved on to gain experience in a laboratory for colored stones while also trading in gems and jewelry, cutting gemstones, and visiting different markets and mines. Upon his return to GIA as an instructor, Patharaphum is able to share his many years of experience with his students at the Bangkok campus.

Ninnate Plumkratoke

Ninnate Plumkratoke

Ninnate received a Master’s degree in Contemporary Jewelry Design from Silpakorn University in Thailand. She also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science specializing in gemology. Her studies included gem identification, jewelry design, jewelry manufacturing arts, and marketing. During her studies, she worked as a jewelry designer for an international jewelry company. After graduation, Ninnate worked as a freelance jewelry designer for a jewelry company and held a marketing and design role for a diamond manufacturer. She has earned the GIA Graduate Gemologist® diploma (GG), Graduate Pearls diploma (GP), Jewelry Design program (JD) and Applied Jewelry Professional diploma (AJP®). Ninnate loves working closely with her students and encourages them to create their own style and share their design perspectives.
